SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed concerning the substantial quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the area regularly. The services level made for intervention ordeals status sassa a superior inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to enable the servicing of all customers and SRD maximize use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
